State: Ohio Age: 37 At the age of 9, I was introduced to the outdoors by my dad and my uncles. They would take me to "deer camp" and the most memorable things were the loud snoring and cold nights in the back of the truck. By the age of 12, I was able to do some work for a local gun store and buy my first compound bow - a Jennings Black Lightning. In the fall of 2002, I was able to go to Canada with a close friend on a black bear hunt and was successful at harvesting my first bear. Since then, I have taken several whitetail deer and have been fortunate enough to travel to different states with my wife to hunt. The passion and excitement of the outdoors has continued throughout the years and I now enjoy sharing the same passion with my kids. Introducing to them what my dad introduced to me when I was young. |
